Unless you’ve been living under a rock for some time now, then you are very aware that it is Olympic Time! And with two sports nuts living in my house … and an olympic medal candidate competeing from our home town … well, let’s just say we are excited and seem to be living and breathing the olympics right now.
So, I thought it would be fun to track the USA’s medal count. But how to do it?? Put my thinking cap on and came up with the idea in today’s tutorial. The idea is that every day we’ll look up the medal count for USA and then use star stickers to reprsent each medal won. At the end of the Olympics on August 12th … if the USA has earned at least 100 medals … we will all get to have a huge ice cream treat.
I used my Silhouette SD to do this chart but you can use Microsoft Word or any other program and get the same results.
Step One: Layout your design in the Silhouette software.
Step Two: Cut All Your Pieces Out
Step Three: Glue it all Down; Add Washi Tape for the borders
And you get the finished product:
What do you think? Is Team USA going to win us some gold??
